It's easy to send out an e-mail and forget about it. Rather than letting an e-mail disappear into the ether, I CC myself on e-mails that require follow-ups. Then I automatically filter those e-mails into a special "Follow Up" folder. Every Monday, I check that folder, and follow-up on anything that needs it -- everything in just one place, it's easy.
